There's only one week left until the price of THE SECRET LIFE OF ANNA BLANC ebook goes up to $9.99. Get it while it's still $2.99 (Nook or Kindle) because it might never go on sale again. Or, if you don't like ebooks, sign up to win a paperback at the Goodreads Giveaway Lastly, here is your window into the glamorous life of an author: I'm currently filling out pages and pages of tax forms in Croatian, in quadruplicate. (No joke. They need it in quadruplicate.) Cheers, Jennif
In the 1900's, most women had long hair, or wore yak hair pieces or, very often, both. No wonder it was the age of the hair comb. It was also a decadent era when ladies flaunted their wealth by wearing the most expensive jewels they could get their hands on. Here are some of my favorites. All three are very Anna Blanc. The first is a combination comb and brooch designed by Lalique in 1902. It's made of horn, gold, yellow sapphires, mandarin garnets, diamonds, and a fire opal.
