Music is important in the Anna Blanc mystery series, mainly because Joe Singer is always crooning away. Someone asked me to put together a soundtrack for the (as of yet) imaginary Anna Blanc movie. I decided to include early recordings of the songs that Joe sings in the book, so you no longer have to imagine their tunes. I also included contemporary songs that fit the themes of the book.
